Customizing

ok I want to totally redo the interior for my eclipse, fiberglass it all, change the a/c and gauge colors, tv where the airbag is, redo the seats, are there any sites that sell customized parts besides ebay, I am going with a pink and black theme :p skull and crossbones, and everything I find is red, green or blue. I've seen a few DIY vids for fiberglassing, I might try to do it myself. any tips, tricks, or pointers?

your gonna need to do it yourself, plain and simple. No one will make what you are looking for.

You might be able to find a place around you thatll do that kinda work unless youre really interested in doin your own work. I have a place here in springfield, MA that will do a lot of custom fiberglass work. Unfortunately its not cheap, so Im gonna end up doin any fiberglass myself. If youre gonna do it yourself, Id definitely recommend starting with small pieces, like bezels and such. Check out my cardomain page (in my sig) I had a lot of the interior recolored two-tone. Now I just gotta figure out how to remove the dash and get that done.

So yea either look around for a car audio/customizing shop or start practicing. Good luck!

I looked around at a few sites and got some really good ideas, I think I might just try to gel coat all the smaller pieces, although I worry about it cracking due to a system, I bought A whole junk car though so I have panels and pieces to practice on, do you know any sites that sell cosmetic parts, I need the part right about the door that seems to chip to chrome on every Eclipse I have seen lol.

I just looked at the site, our cars are twins lol Mine is that same color green 95 RS I will have to upload pictures of it, although sadly mine doesn't have a sunroof, I'm actually experimenting with the other car I have to make it a T-top.

That sounds like a cool idea, and yea the sunroof I have isnt that great. They diced up my headliner and installed a sunroof that only opens half its length. Id rather just get a factory sunroof lol. But Ill definitely have to see pics of what you have and what youre gonna do with it.

there is a guy at club3g.com that could help with some parts you may not be able to do, he has a website but it appears to be down but i assume he still does this stuff. his name is hyjacker or something like that, heres a link to his car before he sold it and beware of some nearly nude girls posing with it . his car was considered the best 3g by just about everyone
