Yeah i noticed while turning right at a stop sign today, that if i try to go around it kind of fast, it cuts out for a split second, then goes back to normal....wtf?

RE: cutting out

i have the same problem once in a while, but it's when i turn left. if i'm in a parking lot or something and i turn the wheel ALL THE WAY very hard the engine will stutter and cut out for a second until i turn the wheel just a little bit back toward the right....

RE: cutting out

might have something to do with the power steering pump taking the power away or something.

Defenatly pwer steering. Just dont give it full lock and you will be ok. Either that or get a better alt

I am pretty sure that is normal for it to cut out like that, I think there is a switch for the p/s pump preventing the car from stalling from hard turns.

What does the alt have to do with the PS pump...

nothing... but if it takes alot of the power. The stock eclipse alt is known to be crap.
