how hard is it to take off the dash and paint it. what kind of paint should i use?

holy crap man thats a HUGE job!i used to work at a body shop, and the mechanic could pull apart a dash, repair something, then put it all back in in a day... i asked him to help me pull mine apart on my old rs cause i was redoing the whole thing, and he laughed haha... personally i'd leave it

yea man it's a really ridiculous project that i'll almost garauntee you'll regret... if you really wanna get it done i would suggest having a shop do it for you... have them pull it out, then you paint it (they sell vinyl paint at like napa and advanceauto i'm pretty sure), then have them reinstall it for you... what do you want to paint it for anyway?

no, the earlier models are tan... and i think even some of the base models of the later years

oh no nono, i mean the upper part, like... where you would leave your papers on if we werent dsm owners and move so much.... i do have a tan interior myself (the only thing i love about my base model)

no, like i said, the earlier models were ALL tan... it wasnt until 97 that they started putting black in
