Decision
Hey guys, I came across a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, it is fully loaded, a\c works, pw, pl, sunroof, new motor with 30,000 miles, and a full flowmaster exhaust for $3000 or obo. Now the car is black just like my 1999 mitsubishi eclipse rs, so i don't know whether i should give up my eclipse for it. I have a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse rs with intake, possible frame damage, flood damage, rebuilt engine on title, 78,000miles on it, but i have to change the timing belt in about 10,000 miles, plus my back tires are going in about 4 months. Is it worth to keep my car or sell it and buy this one? What do you guys think?

Uh, let me see...for go all the crap you'd have to deal with on your RS...buy the GS!!!!! GS + No frame damage = happy go lucky...IMO

RE: Decision
then if i go for the GS eclipse, where do i sell my eclipse, a mechanic said it is just good for parts, should i try and get $3000 out of mine or sell it for parts for $1,500.

RE: Decision

RE: Decision
Nothing really, rims and wing. Just looks.
I dont even know that you would get 1500 for it from the parts. I would just try and sell it. You could probably get around 3k for it. |
RE: Decision
this gs has the turbo motor or second model engine, but will it be able if i were to put a turbo kit withstand it like the GS-T's or will i have to do an engine rebuild.
