Default Do I need a camber kit?

On a 1G do I need to worry about a camber kit if I lower it 3"? I was talking to a guy about buying his coilovers off his 1G and he said the suspension is stiff enough that it does not need a camber kit. Is this true or false? Thanks.

You probably don't, not with the stock wheels anyway. If the guy has them on his eclipse still, go look at his tires. If there's un-equal wear on the tread or if the tire is cutting or chopping, then be sure to ask him why. Also, check with the manufacturer of the coil-overs. On their website, it will usually tell you if you need any camber adjustment.

Ok, cool. Now..what about "balancing" the car after I put the coilovers on it? Can I do this or is it better left to pros? Thanks for the help!
