Clutch fluid leak

Clutch fluid leak
Hi all
My son has 1995 Eclipse, 2.0 engine.
His clutch started acting up and we, based on our previous experience with 94 model we used to have, bled the clutch cylinder.
It worked for couple months, then 2 days ago clutch was lost again, as in no resistance to pedal.
I found that master clutch cylinder was almost empty. Of course, air got in and lead to lost clutch.
Refilled and bled again.
Took a good look at the plumbing. There appear to be no obvious leaks and it seems to be a very simple system - one rubber hose from canister to MC and then metal line straight down to clutch cylinder. It all looks intact and dry.
Where does the fluid go? Is it possible to leak internally, from clutch cylinder into the transmission housing, as there's drippage from the transmission housing bell down, dead at the lowermost point of it, where's mounted to the engine. Might be main seal too.
Any suggestions? We had to do same to our 94 Eclipse, makes me believe it's a common issue?
Thank you.
