Nah you can get a kit to do it but the work is a pain in the ****. You have to drill a hole for the poppers, wire everything and set up the latches. Then if you wanna go that far you can shave the handles (Illegal in my state even IF you have electric poppers). That requires removing the handles and replacing them with a blank filling things in with fiberglass sanding it all down and painting. In other words BIG PAIN IN THE ***! lol But it can be done and basically get any super street or Modified mag or any of the ricer tuner rags and there will be ads for popper kits.

how would you get into the car if you had shavd handles and no poppers? and i dont mind doing all that work i got access to all the tools i'll ever need (wires ect) so its just a matter of finding it and putting it on... and i dont think itll illegal in NY cause like i said my dads viper is shaved and no cops say n e thing about it... and as for as filling in the handles, thats easy my bro is great with fiberglass.. so where can i find a good reliable door pop kit...i cant seem to find one out there thats seems like a lagit item

nice sig sang

Make sure you check the weight of your doors first and get poppers that'll open them. I'm not sure what has to be done inside the door and wiring wise so you MIGHT want to look into a shop to install the popper but maybe not do the fiberglass work on the doorhandle. Yeah I don't know what the laws are in NY but here in VA they have safety inspections and not being able to open the door from outside quick and easy is illegal and will fail inspection. I don't know how reliable those systems are but MAKE SURE you have a release switch outside the car somewhere (Most likely UNDER the car in a safe spot). Like I said check around get pricing and see if you can find any testimonies on them.

You ca get the kit from auto-loc but i wouldn't recommend putting them a daily driven car for the fact that they like to act up and if you don't have door handles its hell getting in. I had them on my escort and i always had problems with them. For a show car they are fine. They are many times i had to use a coat hanger to get in.
