i have a few questions about downpipes.... do you need an aftermarket turbo for one? do you need a catback exhaust to have one? how much to the tires do they give you? are they worth the money?

You probably don't know much about the Turbo cars...

Exhaust Systems for Turbo cars...it's not like NA cars...

Free Flow is the most big issue...so changing the Down Pipe(or Front Pipe) and Cat-back Exhaust will give you more power than you can imagine on Turbo cars...especially with big turbos...

BUT!!! If your car is running stock turbo then you will probably often have boost creep but better than the boost lagg...I guess...

On stock turbo...2.25" or 2.5" piping will be good...

Some 3" piping will give you boost creep for sure!!!

Good luck!!!

you can use a downpipe with your stock turbo.. but you should really buy a catback to go with it.. the biggest pipe you can use on a GS-T is 2 3/4 . i have a gsx and i can run 3inch.. but if you have a weak turbo.. when you change the exhaust you might blow the turbo seal... i paid $800 for my full exhaust all apex-i downpipe and catback...
