Default Eclipse 1995 non turbo big engine probleme HELP!!!!

damn ****ing problem with my eclipse 1995 non turbo...when i ran it about 10 minute the engine start bucking the rpm needle act crazy and then the car stop,then i stop and start it back and rpm is going 4000 to 1000 rpm like if i press the gas en release it is did this few time then stop again,i let the car cool down for a while and then it is ok and can drive it for about 10 minute again and the its start bucking again and then stop...whats the ****ing probleme,the only code i get is,EGR valve,and my o2 sensor cause my catalytic converter is remove, i tried to unpluged egr valve an ran it without it to see, but it did it even without it,someone have an idea whats my problem?? 2.0L engine automatic transmition

sounds like either a bad egr or a vaccuum leak...you cant simply remove the egr without blocking off the correct holes otherwise it will mess up the computer. what was the exact code you got

If it were the alternator you battery would eventually be dead and you wouldnt be able to start it. But if the car is running you can check the alternator...an easy way to check it is to let the car idle for a little to the point where the battery should be at charge then check the voltage on the battery terminals. You should be around 12 volts. If you get under 10 then that means you battery isnt being charged by the alternator....or your battery is crap, haha.

You could also remove it and bring it to autozone to be tested
