Default Eclipse 95 GS need help

Hey guys, I was cruising on highway and when I hit a rough road the rpm would cut about 200-300 from whataver I'm in. Out of my curiousity I tried my car on stony road and it does the same. The funny thing is the car doesn't do that when it's a smooth ride. Can this be a lose connection? like "safety roll over switch"

I also have a powersteering pump leak, can this leak related to the problem above?

Eclipse 95 GS.

Thanks guys

I'm lost on exactly what you're trying to say here... First thing that comes to mind is a possible partially clogged fuel filter? But I don't quite understand the problem. Please elaborate.

check the grounds. Or the battery terminals to see if they are loose

ok, What I was trying to say is. My car would go crazy when I drive on bumpy road. Like if I'm driving 3rd gear = 3000 rpm = 42 mph suddenly there is a bump I drove to, the rpm would go down like to 2700 and the car feels like fuel doesn't get to engine. Where as, on smooth ride, nothing will happen.

I know someone that had the same thing but it was an electrical problem.

Do you have battery problems?

I am agree with Sebba, somthing isn't connected right and is coming loose on bumpy roads. I would unconnect ,check it, and then reconnect everything from your plugs to where your fuel pump gets hooked up to, its time consuming but it beats having to buy a bunch of parts you don't need. Does anything else happen, like do your lights flicker or dim, check your grounds to make sure they are all in good shape cause I know mine went bad once all I had to do was just sand them down a bit to get rid of the rust and then rebolt them back up.

Things i was thinkin of.

Loose wire, alternator belt, bad battery and or alternator. Maybe a bad ground.

I'd say loose connector or a bad ground. But that's why I asked when it happened what the conditions were and whatnot.
