My key fob is broke, the part you put the keyring through. Will any year eclipse fob work on a 97 GST? I know you have to program it but will it even be compatible? Most of then that are cheap on ebay are all for 2000+ Eclipses so thats why i ask...thanks

You can get them off ebay. There is no transponder in the key so all you need is something with the correct thread pattern. You can get them off eBay and they look really cool. You can get it cut almost any key place and it should work.

Yes, you can order them from ebay and I would advise you to do so because the stealerships are so damn expensive with those. BTW, they do work. Just get the ones that have the 95-99s in mind so that you know that the freqs are the same and yes, programming them is easy.

*Yours looks like an older "CodeAlarm" key fob....I used to have one, lol.

Is yours an alarm too? One that chirps a horn? Or do your interior lights flash with a green "security" light, on the dash cluster?

Here's what most folks have...

Also, Dodge Avengers/Chrysler Sebrings use the same remote. I just checked and ebay seems to be out of them and the prices have gone up too.
Keyless remote key fob

You can also try these..

They replace the one up top.
New remote

i'm also pretty sure that you can get these from Radio Shack, Best Buy, or any alarm system place and get one from them.

Hmmm, i have power locks and it works fine, you just have to aim it at a certain area in order to get it to work......
