Sowhat is the difference when they list a 4g63 as turbo or non turbo.

 

Cams, pistons, rods, oil squirters, and the non turbo i havnt heard abour crankwalking

 

thanks sebba that one was botherin me. but i have managed to find one 4g63 t complete motor tranny turbo and intercooler for 1300. but it comes with a 5 spd awd tranny. can i put a fwd 5 spd in its place with that motor?

 

by the way this sounds your thinking about swaping a 4g63 into a 420a car....not worth the money. If you do have a gst though, yes you can just throw on the gst trans and your good to go.

 

just a lil background. you have a gst right? i'm assuming a blown motor? so you bought a block and trani together but the trani is awd tranni? yes you can use a fwd tranni on ur new block, same bolt pattern. make sure you know which kind of block you got thought (6 bolt / 7 bolt) b/c you may need to buy a new flywheel if it's the opposite one.
