im still going on a driver error here. It sounds to me like your saying it happens when you let off the clutch to fast. That means that the car is in danger of stalling and the engine and car will buck alittle.

yea i was just trying to make sure that it WASN'T a driver error. not sure i've ever seen anybody ask how to fix a driver error. but yea, my del sol does it once in a while b/c the stock intak is so constricted that it has to be at about 1500-2k rpms just to go. not a problem now :-D

Actually RCJ thats not a bad idea for something to check. Maybe a usual tune up is in order here with spark plugs, and intake filter

Another guy is saying it might be the through out bearing, and another is guessing its the input/output shaft that making this rattling noise. It's not driver error this is the only car I've had this happen too andI can't figure ito out 4 $#!t!!!![:@]I've had them in the car with me but couldn't get it in what lil time I had. I feel you guys tho cuz its givin meheadache trying to find this problem, Im almost at a point were Im like the car drives fine F{}(k It!! but some ppl say I should find out what is is before it causes something mayjor. I might just get the engine and/or trans rebuilt and call it a day. When I bought the car the guy said he just got the clutch replaced and kept tellin me how soft the clutch was. Also back it 2000 4 years after they bought it brand new from the dealership they hydrolocked it and got the lower end rebuilt, gave me the receipts. Hope that helps

intake mani cleaner, plugs, wires, distributor coil (if needed), oil change, fuel cleaner, double check all mounts, air filter. after your sure that all of this has been done, if it still does it than either you need to learn your car (took me like 2 weeks to get my del sol to stop doing it) or, yes, you have other problems.
