yeah, make sure that your cam gears line up in the middle AND the crankshaft lines up with the correct timing line.

If you are not sure then yeah it probobly is because if the crank is off 180 but your cams were lined up then it would appear that the timing is correct (because the cams still line up but that is not ture)

idk, im just making sure that everything was installed properly and there are no leaks. However the stock bolts on your car are torque to yeild bolts, and the ARP bolts are not. So the way you torque them is totally different. Ussually a stock bolt youll torque, totally let off, then torque more allowing it to reach "yeild". While the arp bolts youll torque them all to a specified ft-lb and then continue to torque each in like a 10 ft-lb increment. Most people will torque the ARP to about 80-90 ft-lbs but you first get them to around 50ft-lbs i think and then go up in increments.

Make sure that he hooked up all the sensors currectly and that the Cam sensor and TPS are angled correctly

ok i will do that. i am still looking about building or rebuilding an engine dose the 6-bolt engine fit on a 7-bolt automatic trans. or would that b to much work to make that happen. cuz like i said its got alot of miles on it and i want to put and evo3 on it hopefully some day so with a fresh motor it would be more peace of mind that i dont have to worry about any internal problems down the road?

if you have an automatic you really dont have to worry to much about crankwalk. But you could just rebuild the engine you have now. Either just doing a gasket, rings, ect. kit or all new internals. I guess it depends on how much you want to spend
