<IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">hi, I change the tamin belt in my eclipse 92 1.8 y the engine rev by itself and almost dies. all the pulleys marks are ok.</P>


any advise?</P>

Wow, not to undermine you, but check with the DSM manual cd and see if you're using the right belt. Sometimes, those aftermarket belts span a wide range of engines, but they don't work on all of them. Mitsu made like 4 different 1.8l engines, so the place you bought the belt from might have gotten them mixed up. If it is the right belt, double check, then triple check and then make a friend check to see if you've done everything right.
