right... but look at how much it overhangs on the sides... the starter plate is exposed quite a bit...

That does look weird, but I couldn't tell ya. I have a 6 bolt with a 95 tranny and mine doesn't look like that either. I have the normal overhang from underneath, but not from the front.

hmmm.. Do you have any pictures of it from the back side looking at where the starter bolts in?

J/w what starter plate you have, is there a difference between a 6 bolt and a 7 bolt? I know the starter holes are a little different is there anything else?

I think you need the 6 bolt plate.. I dont think the starter will go in right with the 7 bolt plate on.

Your tranny looks a little different but it looks right.. (I think its the color thats throwing me off :/)

yea i have the 6-bolt plate... i ordered it from the dealership as for a "91" motor... and the reason why the color is off is cause it's from mitsu graveyard. they rebuilt it and painted it... so it's supposed to hang over the sides like that?
