RE: evo head
isn't the 4g64 in the spyder's turned the oposite way of the EVO's?
|
RE: evo head
Yes, Ron... it is. The Eclipse 4g63t head will fit on there though.
|
RE: evo head
i know the evo head is taller than the regular eclipse 4g63t would you be able to close the hood normal...i mean the head wouldnt be too tall would it?? just wanna make sure the hood will still close like it needs to

RE: evo head
No, thats not the problem. The problem is that the timing belt and all is on the opposite side.

RE: evo head
ORIGINAL: Dusty Eclipse Yes, Ron... it is. The Eclipse 4g63t head will fit on there though. |
RE: evo head
man that sux hoping for an evo head but its all good though guess he can just go with the eclpse 4g63t head...although now im curious...how come they turned the evo engine around like that??
|
RE: evo head
not sure if there's a reason at all. the 4g63 in the eclipese and dsm's was known as the 4g63ta the EVO motor is the 4g63tb b/c of it's design difference and size difference.

RE: evo head
The head is a lot better looking on the EVOs though... I gotta admit, Id love to slap one on my 4g63t... but it just cant happen. (As per Mitsu.)

RE: evo head
so this is sorta along the same lines. just purly a question from my curiosty if someone turboed a 420a would they need to put a 4g63t head on if they wanted more the 8psi. ive seen that 8 psi is about max thats why i asked.
