evo Intercooler question
 

I heard that a stock evo 8 intercooler would fit right on to a 2nd gen eclipse with a 16g. is that true? if so, does anyone have an evointercooler for sale?

It will fit, but not without modification. If you look at the in/out pipes they are angled. It's not a "bolt-on" affair. You either need to cut the end pipes and make them straight or have piping bends in weird places.
The turbo doesn't matter, it's the piping that does.

Notice how the end pipes curve downward at a steep angle?
Is it worth it? Sure, it's better than the stock smic. A Supra smic is easier to deal with though and will keep the motor happy with a 16G.

egh, that thing looks hideous on that car! looks like they bent the top of the bumper up and just kind of set it on top of the intercooler... egh.
