Default Fuel Filter - not behind battery

I've read every here and been told from others that the fuel filter on my car is behind the battery.. i'm not seeing it guys

Should be up against the filewall, just behind the battery. on your RS, though, I believe everything is opposite. Is your battery on the right side? My battery is on the left side pushed back against the firewall. I have to take that out, and the platform it sits on to get to it. Good luck.

yeah dude, thats the left side of the car.. drivers side... thats showing the battery removed and the battery plate removed... there's nothing there. lol

YOu'll need to remove the washer resevoir also to have access to it. Keep in mind, later 2G models (with 420A) had the fuel filter relocated underneat the vehicle in the right rear quarters close to the right rear wheel/ fuel tank.

yeah, I have a 2g with 420a.. I couldn't find it back there though, lol.. someone take a picture for me or something!! ... peez

ok... so is it behind the windshield washer resevoir?... AND there's one in my passenger side rear wheel area?? It can't be this hard guys c'mon... which is right.. I'm so confused.

should be directly to the left of washer res. when looking under the hood.

How hard is it to remove the washer resevoir? .. just a simple unbolt? I never looked at that area when I was out there yesterday. It'll probably be next weekend before I get around to round 2.

2 bolts on top 1 on bottom.
