Find a used magnaflow. Or if you have a good friend at a muffler shop then get him to bend up so three inch pipe and use the muffler you like the best.

if its a GS or RS, good luck. Talk to RCJ, he had a GS i think and he might know of something. If you have a GST or GSX then the N1, HKS, Greddy, pretty much all systems will be deep.

do you have a turbo or non turbo? if you don't want loud do NOT get Thermal R&D... just don't lol. i'd go w/ Greddy, Magnaflow or Apexi N1. they are all quite but very throaty.

I have a flowmaster 40 series and it has a nice deep tone to it and its resonably quiet compared to the other rice mufflers i have owned apc, tenzo r , and, bombz but it will let you know when you have tromped the gas pedal .

as far as just mufflers go... the guy i bought my rs from had already put one of those matrix adjustable mufflers on it... i wasnt a big fan of it, but i didnt have the money nor the real want to add a full exhaust to my rs... but with that and a new midpipe it actually sounds pretty sweet... with or without the removable silencer its a pretty low tone, and you dont get that fart noise anywhere throughout the rpm range...
