RE: G464 Turbo? Is it Possible?
GAHHH!!! NO!!! You can use the 4g63 exhaust manifold on the SOHC 4g64 (BTW the mitsu way to call an engine is the 4g64, 6g72, 6a12, and so on. The hyundai way to call it is like g64b or g63. It' doesn't make a difference, they're the same engine, just a little different nomenclature). However, The boltholes for the 4g63 exhaust manifold line up correctly to the 4g64 SOHC head. Almost all 4g6x heads all have the same exhaust port size and shape, just differing intake ports. The intake manifold will not bolt up, but it doesn't really matter. The exhuast manifold will bolt up directly, and that's all you really need to worry about if you're doing a custom turbo kit. So remember, any 1g or 2g 4g63 manifold(the new evo engines are arranged different so they won't work) will work. And 1g manifolds are like practically free now, so it's *really* cheap to build a turbo kit. Damnit, you guys are making get ahead of myself.
