Default Gauge pod backlights

I have no backlights on my main gauge cluster (speed, tach, fuel, temp). My indicators all around the cluster are working (hatch, door ajar...), but at night it's a pitch black pod. I've checked the fuses, relays, wiring from my head unit, and everything is good. Is it just blown bulbs, or should I be suspicious of my dimmer switch/headlamp control? I'm somewhat new to DSMs, so any help would be great. Thanks.

could be just the bulbs or you could have a short on the printed circuit board on the back of the cluster.
