Gettin Some hp

Besides a CAI and Exhaust kit, what do you guys think is the next best costly effective part that will increase my horsepower. I already have a turbo. >Tdo5 i was thinkin new headers, but i was wondering if you guys think differently. thanks

MBC and boost guage

RE: Gettin Some hp

Install both at the same time if you want to be safe and feel some gains. Do not install a boost controller without a boost gauge. When I bought my car it didnt have a boost gauge but it did have a boost controller. I was overboosting, like almost 20psi, when it should have been at like 15-16psi. Im lucky I didnt blow anything up. You might want to invest in better blow off valve to hold the incresed psi, if you have the 2nd gen plastic bov .

RE: Gettin Some hp

yea see thats why i was thinking of other things...might go with headers..

RE: Gettin Some hp

Go with the MBC!!!!! you will get way better HP gains than you would with the manifold. Oh and BTW it is called a manifold, not a header, they are two different things

RE: Gettin Some hp

i hear people talk about DC headers and how good they are and stuff.. when you say manifold, are you talking about the turbo manifolds. like the part connecting the turbo to the engine?

RE: Gettin Some hp

yes thats what i was talking about, a header is only on a N/A car
