They help. They do NOT add power or anythnig stupid like that. Its just to help out the stock weak ass alternator.

When the car idles and you rev it the lights get brighter would the grounding kit fix that?
|
RE: Grounding kits, a joke?
It would make it so they dont go so dim in the first place.

hmmm well i have one of the grounding kits and my lights get a tiny bit brighter when i rev so im not sure if mines setup wrong or what.

RE: Grounding kits, a joke?
Oh no its right. Its just supposed to minimized the dim of the lights. Like when your are coming up to a red light, and the lights arent as bright, its supposed to make them a little brighter. Its just to smooth over your electrics a little better.

Import Tuner - November 06' - Orange Custom Wide Body NSX on the cover. "Five Horsepower More For Under A Buck" - this guy made a grounding kit and placed it in very particular spots on his K24 swapped CRX and made 5whp gain.
When i intalled my Greddy Grounding kit on my Eclipse way back when i didn't notice any performance gain but i did notice a smoother accelleration. None the less, it can't hurt, and i think it cost me like 15 bucks shipped... |
RE: Grounding kits, a joke?
i have the grounding kit on my car and dont think that it has done anything except add some color the the hood is open... then again everyone thinks differently
