Default GST engine problem

Hey, I have 97 GST and just recently its been idling at like 300 rpms (and its automatic too) which isnt good, and now when Im driving and my RPMS get above like 3000 it starts to slip or like not catch and wont let me get past it. I have no idea what could be causing this. I just changed out my fuel filter and spark plug wires/spark plugs too. Any ideas? Thanks.

Dang. What would cause that to happen? And where would it most likely be?

Do a boost leak test to find out if that is your issue, do u have a check engine light?

Yeah, I did, but it randomly went off. I had autozone check it with their computer, and it said I had a misfire in cylinder 1. I dont know if its a combination of that and a boost leak, or just that, but its driving reallyyy crappy.

NGK 6ES plugs and OEM or something listed for a 4g63, not an STi motor...different tolerances.
The 4g63 doesn't like other plugs, stick with NGK.
