The 16 g turbo that is supposely used on the japanese EVO if you have please let me know before my girl buys it

 

Well if its JUST the turbo then you will need the other bits for it. Also you will need better injectors.

 

yeah we are gonna buy the whole kit w/ the adjustable BOV. we just arent gonna upgrade the injectors right off ( we are building it for show not to race) its a 2000 eclipse 4cyl auto

 

Their are many different types of 16G's, do you have a picture? Some came off or were made for EVO's and some are 14b upgrades. We need more specs on the turbo your looking at........

 

You will need injectors if you want to run that turbo at any half decent boost. Other than that you should be fine.

Just getting bigger injectors is not enough. You will need a fuel pump, some type of a fuel computer on top on getting the injectors. Its not like......hey lets slap this bigger turbo on and go......sorry your motor wont last if you do that. I understand this is going to be a show car, but if you don't do supporting mods, and run "Half decent boost" you will have a dead show car.

 

Don't forget the FPR. Stock one won't hold under higher power... And like everyone else said get teh supporting mods. Unless you're making a trailer queen. Then just get pretty stuff that doesn't need to function.

 

Call me crazy but I am missing the point of this post? Do you want to buy one? if so check out some vendors or the classified section. If your asking if its going to be a good upgrade over stock then yes. If you want to know what you need with it, chekc out rre's site or sbr.com.

 

wow...you guys jump way too fast. all he asked was if a 16G came on the Japanese Evo. he didn't ask what he needed to turbo his car.
