Default WHICH HEADERS???

i already installed a Weapon R dragon style intake with a tsudo performance exhaust and i do feel a difference. i want to put some headers on my 2.4 galant too. the only brand headers i found for my car are Kamikaze, OBX, and RPW. im leaning toward Kamikaze. any advice in horsepower gains would be appreciated.

What generation galant are you driving? If it's the dsm orientation, might as well do a turbo conversion.

But i heard RPW is a really good shop. They're based out of australia so you'll have to communicate through email unless you can afford international charges. RPW is definitely performanced based, so you'll get more power...but at a premium price. Check out The Galant Center, they may be able to help you more.

Well, the orientation is the engine bay configuration. The dsm's have thetranny on the left andengine on the right. The 3g eclipses and newer galants(like yours) have it the opposite way, engine on the left andtranny on the right. It may not seem like a big deal until you have to modify the engine. The headers and manifolds from a dsm won't bolt on to a your galant and since the t-belt is on the other side, thedsm heads won't bolt on either. However, there is hope...the evolution has the same engine bay orientation as your galant. So the head and exhaust mani from an evo will bolt on to your engine. So you can have yourself a factory style turbo kit. Very cool, but you'll either need some deep pockets if you're going to buy everything from the dealer, or be lucky and know someone who justwrapped their evo around a tree.
