First off i have a 1996 Eclipse GS now.....

this might seem kind of crazy but i was wondering is it possible to take a 2jzgte engine from the toyota supra and put it in my car without much work to my engine bay? if it's not possible at all whats the most i can get out of my car if i go N/A and what exactly do i need to put in it?? thanks for ya time

 

holy mother of ****....NO you cant its impossible...don't waste your time thinking about it...do soem reading up on DSM's before you do anything to your car and welcome

 

Um noway. Not to mention the 2JZ GTE motor alone is about $5k for just the block and then you need the head a tranny (if you got the getrag 6spd your looking at another $5kish.

Just dont even bother with that idea it cant happen.

 

staying NA with that car is basically a waste of money also. The fastest NA i believe only ran like a low 15 sec and that was with a ton of money spent on it, and it was basically a drag car only. So trying to stay NA and be fast is imposibble.
