Default Help

Can someone please tell me why every time i go to unlock my car the car alarm goes off? I dont have a keyless entry, i have use the key to unlock it. Every single time though that i turn the key and unlock it, the **** alarm goes off and the only way to shut it off is go over to the passenger side door and turn the key.

sometimes they come with a security system. Youll see the green light on the guages. But it sounds to me like the person didnt give you the keyless entry. And the other thing is it should disable when you unlock the drivers door. So it sounds to me like you have a wiring issue with that as well

It's supposed to disarm when you unlock the driver's side....although, for some reason mine disarms from both sides.
You may want to invest in a key fob or remove the door panel and check the door lock/unlock switch. It sounds like the driver's side arm/disarm trigger has malfunctioned.
Do me a favor...unless you already know the answer. Does the security light come on when you lock the door from the driver's side?

I just went out and messed around with it a little bit. Okay the only time the security light comes on, is after its been cranked, then you cut it off and lock it and get out. When i first got went out to the car, i went to the passenger side to go unock the doors to see if that would keep it from setting off. If i unlock it from that side first then it doesnt go off. Also, if i dont cut the car on, if i just shut the doors back and lock it, then i can go to the driver side and unlock it with no problems.
