could be some sorta vacuum leak. Maybe check the lines for the egr or the intake manifold.

 

Okay so the revs aren't catching at all.... are you venting the BOV?

Seriously dude, step AWAY from the car, hand me the keys, and buy a Civic.

What you need to do:

Get a new upper intercooler pipe.
Get the correct flange for the Greddy BOV.
Throw away the stock BOV.
Get a recirculation kit for the Greddy.
Install the Greddy BOV and recirculate it.

Now that I look at it, that doesn't look very much like a real Greddy to me...
