Need a hand, dont know where to start, My Back-up, or reverse lights dont work, they dont seem to engage, checked fuses, they're good, and i need those lights for inspection, which has been out for some time, just tired of waiting to get pulled, then get a ticket for being to low.. or to loud or some other BS reason. Anyone give me any ideas where to start? i'm 17, so yeah.. Its actually my brothers car, i'ma just fix it for'em, or either make a poor attempt to do so..my father seems to think they're just not engagin, like when it goes into reverse or whatever, can someone give me some detailed, or vague, or just instructions on where to BEGIN for that matter? Thanks guys, i'm in dire need of assistance.

 

Oh yeah, forgot a pretty important detail, its a white 97 RS,not that it being white matters, rims, lowered, cd player, sun roof, its a nice little car although being sold shortly maybe, if we can find a buyer for 7 grand.. live in richmond virginia, if u wanna buy it, drop a line.. oh and its gotta short shifter, my dad thinks that might be a problem too, but they didnt work before the short shifter either, and it HAD "subs" reverse lights might have gotten messed up when the previous owner put the subs in..
