not worth the money dude....sell the gs and get a Gst. This questions been beat to death and its always the same answer. Youll save money and headaches plus youll be putting down more power than you ever would with a boosted gs if you build the Gst.

i agree with Dixon... i have a GS that i'm turboing righ tnow , i have the pistons, rods, main bearings, rod bearings, ARP head and main studs, rings, timing belt, walboro 255, water pump, oil pump and urethane motor mounts in my room just waiting to be put into my soon to be freshly bored out block. i'm enjoying the build and having fun with it but if you are serious about putting some power to the ground i'd recommend gettin a GS-T. just on the rebuild i've spent like over 1100, not to mention i still have to get a clutch, (not required but im getting a lightweigh flywheel), injectors, msd, plugs, boost gauge, wideband, some kind of managemend - personlly getting the Greddy E-Manage ultimate, FPR, OH YEA and a turbo kit! so all and all i'll prolly end up spending over 3500-4000 just to get my car boosted, then i have to get it tuned. where you can buy a GS-T for about 1-2k over the pice of a RS or GS and already have a boosted car.

guys the 420a can be boosted just as easily as the 4g63. And i know what you are saying RCJ but you forget that with all the mods you gonna have and the power youll have, it would take another 2k on a gst to get it to that point, so for the same money youll have a more reliable car with the built engine. So hey if you want to turbo it, i say go ahead and do it. Lets try to give him some help rather than just dismissing the idea.

Ok now to try and help the guy out. You dont necessarily have to build up the internals, as long as you dont want to boost over 10psi. But some good places to start are www.hahnracecraft.com they sell a good turbo kit if your interested in getting it all in one. If you plan on making the kit yourself then there are some other people on here that can help you out. But really this is something that you need to have everything before it can be put in. So you have to just get things peice by peice, like RCJ desribed
