Default how to get away with no cat

i recently bought a downpipe for my car when there was a report recently on the news about how cops were cracking down on illegaly modded cars in cali...i was wondering if there were any tricks to hide the fact that there isnt a cat...i am probably going to put the old downpipe on and get a high flow cat but is there any way to get away with it? thanks

Take off your old cayt and bang it out then put it back on the car or weld a stright pipe through it and put it back on the car. With it guted it will give you exaust an empty echo, where i you put a stright pipe through it it wont get that. It will look good if you look under the car but you have to find a way to block out the cell. I.e. Restistor on the hot (one the the white wires) of you 02 sensor, which size not too sure of. That will make it look all good buy you sure as hell wont pass an emmisions test.

ive seen people hollow them out....but www.MitsubishiForum.com in no way supports or condones the illegal modification of cars for street use.

why would you want to run your car without the cat anyway it shouldnt effect proformance all that much. people take out their resinators and make their cars sound like crap and that doesnt effect proformance at all.

LOL yeah I don't see the point of ollowing it out unless it's clogged and you can't afford a new one at the moment LOL.

removing the cat on a turbo car actually helps it breathe alot better. The more air you can get in/out with a turbo the more power.....just be able to get the amount of fuel needed for all that air that goes in....
