when i buy an intake for my 99 rs do i buy the one made for a dodge neon 420a or the one for the 2.0l eclipse engine....becuse the motor is a 420a. im so cofused.

Their different. The neon motor is switched around, the intake manifold is in the front of the car and the exaust manifold is facing the rear. the only performance parts that are the same are the plugs, wires, tb(with some modding) pistons, rods, cams and internal stuff like that
