In the instructions on hooking up the avcr boost controler it tells you to tee the boost gauge vacuum to the hose that goes from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure solenoid.

Well fix your little leak and then see how that fixes things. Maybe get a digital BC? Just for better accuracy? If fixing the leak dont work then maybe you should turn it down alot and find the line wer it stops hapening. Maybe you have a fuel problem

Like I said I didn't have much time to work out all the kinks in the systems. As for boost leaks I know a few culprit areas that could be causing it. Also I tried finding a line off the intake to run the guage on but all I saw on the 2 spots I tried was a vacum. Again this was at around 4-4:30 A.M. with NO lights (2 flashlights COMPLETELY dead in the process of installing the guages and whatnot) and I was trying to get things done. Now if he opens the MBC all the way shouldn't that let boost go as high as it wants? I thought closing it kept the boost down... Am I backwards on the MBC? Also the instructions say 3 turns counterclockwise will give you between 1-3 PSI boost. Also when the MBC was only 3 turns CCW the BOV really vented loud. It softed up a bit when I opened the MBC a bit more.

Well now that I KNOW I sound like I have NO clue as to what I'm doing.... UGH... I really needed more time to work on this. 11 hours in the dark really wasn't enough.

yeah i think you have that wrong sang. the farther you have to crank down on the mbc, the more pressure there needs to be to push the ball up and if the screw was almost all the way out, there would be less pressure needed.

Weird... I was merely going by what the instructions told me... Maybe he needs to crank it out further then...
