you have a stock gasket at the cat. i reused my stock gasket on my 3G with the Evo II. if the stock gasket is in bad shape, you can pick one up at autozone for like $4. DO NOT WELD ANYTHING!!!!!!

I was wondering if I could reuse the stock one.. I mean, I've never delt with exhausts before, I'm like a beginner home mechanic, lol so.. yeah.. how can I tell if the stock gasket is "in bad shape" ?

Sure, I can buy a new gasket online, but it wont be here until next week.. I waited 2 weeks just for the exhaust to get here.. I'm sick of waiting, I wanna put the thing on. lol.

What are the odds that the stock gasket will be just fine for me not to need another one?

If your that impatient put it on and if it leaks just drive down to autozone or pepboys (nappa is my personal fav.) and grab a 2.5 univerisal 2 bolt exaust flange gasket.
