would you need any special tools to install this? can anyone do it in their own gargae? should i take it to a specialist? same goes for the mbc should i have some a pro do it?

You can do both yourself. They are very simple installs if you can splice wires then you can do it. And the MBC is even easier. Check out www.vfaq.com for how to's on both of them

With all of the right stuff you should be able to hook up a mbc in 10-15 minutes.. Doesnt take long to hook it up, but you will want to test it to see what boost your running at after that..
