As said elsewhere on the forum, I pay about $1850 every six months for my 03 RS. What you pay sounds normal.I am an insurance agent and I'll tell you there are a lot of thigs taken into account to get your rate. Age, Location, Driving history, Miles driven to work...Its expensive, and I'm sure your Eclipse has a bigger engine than mine.

Haha...you guys don't want to be in my shoes...I pay $4,200 a year ($2,100 ever 6 months)...For my 1997 Eclipse GS-T...Full coverage too. I have a clean record and so does the car. Its because I'm 17 the car is red, turbo, 5 speed, leather interior...Man, they must love me at Geico.

I have a 98 eclipse spyder gs- insurance full coverage through all state is about $70.00 a month. Pretty crazy but Im on my grandfather's policy with 2 other vehicles. Still really cheap considering my name is on the policy also and I am 22 with a not so clean driving record. I also live in Tn, maybe that has something to do with it.

01 Spyder GT = $932.40 every 6 months ($155.40/mo)... I'm 24, super clean record, and I only have 100k, 500k, 100k with 500 deductible on comp and collision. At first, I thought I was getting ripped, then I checked out Progressive, and I should be paying a bit more for the same coverage. I guess it helps that the car is under my mom's name... or else it would cost me $1,230 every 6 months ($205/mo).

im 20, pay $248/month, but I guess that will cut in half when I hit 21 and my 3 year grace period for my 5mph over ticket expires... bastards. lol! (allstate)

its rediculous... I pay more to insure my car than I do for my car... at least I get my money back though.. I live in iowa and we seem to have some good hail storms, and small animals runnin around at night. I get a new paint job every couple years for about $4000, and last year I hit a racoon and tore up my blitz kit. I think I should put Allstate in my window as a sponsor!
