Interior Lights blinking?
 

Hello all. I came here to ask for help on a puzzling issue.

Recently, I rewired and reinstalled a system that came in my car (95 eclipse rs)

Once everything was working, it wasn't long after that when I reconnected the battery, as soon as I'd touch the positive to the battery my interior lights by the feet and the map lights on the rear view mirror have now all randomly started blinking. I can't figure out what it is, all the lights are just plain factory. The blinking will go on for about 30 seconds then stop, then randomly come back on as they please.

I've already unhooked the system, put new terminals on the battery and replaced both the ground wires to no avail. I was hoping someone else may have had this problem or just knows how to fix it. any and all ideas are greatly appreciated and i can answer all questions anyone may ask to help. Thanks ahead of time!
