Twine would work better I think, all you have to do is mount a wench on the floorboard and attach a pully on the outside of your door and run the cable through it. Voila, you have a lambo. The hinges can be purchased at any lumber yard.

You have to cut 2 rectangles in the roof, then remove your doors and weld the two rectangles to each door so that they fit into the holes on your car. The you weld a wooden dowel (light weight makes your car faster), weld it, ummm I mean liquid nails it to the spot where you welded the roof piece to the top of the door. Then drill holes in the sides of the jams where the dowel will go then put your doors in. Then weld some handles, you can get them at an overhead door company, weld them to the inside of the two roof pieces so you can pull them down, causing the door to swing up and out. Voila! Delorian FTW!

I've got a buddy who has verticle doors on his 2003 Celica and he likes them. However, he's got the manual ones.
i'd suggest spending the extra bucks and getting the true lambo doors with the air tube......shyt, im running a blank on the word....it's like the trunk. Those air tubes. Fudge, sorry, i'm not fully here today LOL,
But ya those'll work a lot better and look a lot cooler than you having to open the door and lift the door up by yourself.
