maf t gm maf question
 
i want to get a gm maf withh a translator and was wondering if i could hook it up to the stock UICP or do i need to get like a new Dejon UICP piping? i own a 96 eclipse with a hks bov.

you cant hook it upto the stock UICP.

Thats what i was afraid of.

Would you really buy a GM MAFT, buy piping, and tune it.... JUST so you can vent?

ive heard horror stories of trying to tune with the Maf-t especially with only an SAFC if that is what you have ot lpan to have. If i were you i would just stick with the stock MAS. The only "good" reason to ever want to change to maf-t is because you are pushing more air than the stock MAS can handle and by the time that happens the car would probably be ready for a stand-alone. Id say just stay away from it.

it's so he can hear the chuiiiiiii sound guys lol (we all remember that) you can hook it up to stock ecu but tuning will be a freakin nightmare to hear a chhh sound.
