Default Melted Fan

so yesterday i melted my radiator fan blade some how. the driver side so it is only for heater/acand i dont know if i need to replace the whole fan assembly or if i can just replace the fan blade.Should i maybe upgrade thefans? i do plan to upgradedown the road for around 350 hp. Any help would be awesome and if you know where i can get the parts let me know i havent found much outside ebay. thanks.

if it got hot enough to melt your blades, it probably messed up something inside the fan motor too. id replace both. and if your planning on getting upgraded fans down the line, might as well do it now. spahl fan's are a really good name.

according to my gauges my oil temp was around 240 f. the fan still works it just melted so it smacks into the shroud. i could file it or sand it temporarily but i was doing maybe 130 so i guess it just got super hot because i didnt have it on.

ya i was going around 130 i had no idea it would do that. i have gone that fast before and no problems. it was only like 52 degrees up here yesterday too. i thought i would be okay obviously not. should i just get some replacements of a car thats getting parted out? and i couldnt find anything on spahl fans i found some spal fans? and i couldnt find any for mitsu

Oh I thougt you meant you couln't find ANY.

Well that doesn't really matter. You can get another OEM fan really easily, or replace it with one of those fans. Entirely up to you.
