RE: mitsubisi eclipse
wut if u replaced damaged parts. that sure got to keep the value better than having old parts that are beaten up. Yah up in canada eclipse go for a high price. Some ppl try to make a little side money on it buy going to the states and buying eclipse and bringing them to canada and sell them.

RE: mitsubisi eclipse
In regards to actually replacing parts or anything it doesn't affect the value at all. Yeah sure it would be a solid running vehicle and the status would go from 'crap' to better which would only increaase the vehicle from $200-$2000 depending. Once a vehicle hits the 100k mark or 10 yrs depending on the vehicle it is considered a wholesale vehicle which means it isn't worth much trade in value. However if a car has that many miles it is better to sell privately to at least get a little more money. Here is an example... a 97 eclipse gsx manual tranny loaded with only 60k miles would be given around 6 G's trade in.. Now selling privately you could get 8-10 G's all day long.. Here is another example: same vehicle auto with 100k trade in would be around 3 g's but privately you can get close to the same money. Any questions?? LOL
