and god bless that man. We need more turbo four doors in the mitsu lineup.
Hell, I wish they would turbo everything from the endeavor, and outlander to the eclipse and lancer (though I hear they are finally going to turbo the lancer)

nah, in my opinion the evo is way to much money. Not that its not a great car, but, I think its way overpriced. For instance, look at these and tell me what you think
Ford mustang. Base Coupe with the v6 is 19,900, The GT premium is 27,650.
http://www83.forddirect.fordvehicles...=Ford&sZip=
Even fully optioned, the GT comes to only 31, and thats with everything.
Or, look at it like this
the chevy corvette in box stock base form retails at 44,995. (base 1lt model)
The top optioned non-Z06 version, non convertable goes for 57, 630.00
Or, here is something else interesting
The base cobalt is 13,740, completely stock,
the fully loaded version goes for 21k.

Then I found this
Stock 350z, starts at 27,900 fully loaded with each and every nismo part they sell on it goes for 48k. Yeah, thats a big chunk of change, but you get a factory tuned car, which is what the evo is supposed to be.
Then there is our friend BMW whose base 3 series (328i) starts at 32, and maxes out with the 335i at 40k.
Honda has the civic whose base is 14,810 with the top o the line SI sedan coming in at 21k
I am starting to see a trend here, base is one price, maxed out is 10-12 grand max more.

Then look at the lancer/evo line.
Mitsu has the base lancer going for 14,599
and the evo going at 37,950 with the only options being the hyper-ground kit, and the front and rear strut bars. (neccessary IMO, and not a bad price)
Thats a diffrence of 23,351 dollars, THATS A FREAKIN LOT.

mitsu is to proud of the evo, its a great car, but i would like to see it going for no more than 30 loaded.

that lancer and evo are two completely different things dude...different motor and chassis why would you compare them? of course the evo is more then the lancer and the evo is 10 times better then the mustang

you are comparing cars that arent even in the same class the evo is a 12 sec car stock...is a civic? no a 350z? no a mustang? no....

that whole post made no sense. you compared stuff that isnt even close to each other. And if you really look at everything that the evo comes with from the factory, you are getting an amazing car. Its definetly worth the cost

wow what a retarded post...

How bout the Evo your speaking of is an MR edition and it will own a mustang all day long in 1\4 and autocross. how bout the fact that the steering wheel and seats alone in the Evo are worth about $2000 and the brakes are anoher $3000 or maybe the head and motor about another $5000 look at that $10000 without even doing anything.. the Evos price is very very very generaous for what you get. its a super car performer at the cost of a sedan

that whole post made no sense. you compared stuff that isnt even close to each other. And if you really look at everything that the evo comes with from the factory, you are getting an amazing car. Its definetly worth the cost
Lets name drop here
Advan yoko tires
momo streering wheel
Brembo Brakes
Recaro seats and if they are the leather versions they are worht ALOT
macphearson or bilstien suspension
HID lights
LED tails
ACD
FLSD
aluminum hood fenders and roof
enkei or BBS wheels
4G63 motor
electronic adjust HIDs height
IC sprayers

add all that up without even getting the cars shell and im sure it will justify the price the Evo is placed in

And what do almost every other car you listed get?
cheezy interior
cheezy lighting tails and heads
crap suspension

add that up and most of those other cars your getting hosed for the price compaired to teh Evo

how about if you compare something that is comparable (sort of) Like the base model impreza starts at 17,995 and the STI is going for around the same as the evo(32k-40k). I see the same difference there. And the EVO comes with alot better parts from factory than the STI. So your telling me that its still a bad price. Then also the Evo your talking about is an MR like emonz said. So look at the RS model starts at 29,000 which is below your 30k and also the IX is still only 31,000.

Ok
HIDs are an option
Leather is an option
Better sterio
trunk mounted 10 in woofer
rear wing
sunroof

all options you just posted the MR hich comes standard with most all of that...try looking at the RS Evo starts at what $28000 and runs 12.7s
