Default my 1st Turbo

i just bougth a 97 eagle Talon TSi....what kind of Turbo care do i need to be doin....i m not tryin to have to buy a new one anytime soon!!!!?????

Change your oil and use full synthetic, always let the car idle for a few min before shutting it off. Also let the car warm up before you drive it.

Also, get a turbo timer so that you can set the car for a certain count down time at idle so you don't have to sit and let it idle for a bit...the turbo timer will shut the car off for you.

pretty much routine stuff, good oil and like they said, dont drive it cold it isnt good for any car, let it warm up

yea there is no point to getting a turbo timer for that turbo. It only takes a minute to let the car run after driving it.

You don't really even need to let the car idle after driving it unless you were making boost right up to when you parked or were beating on it within the last couple minutes. When I drive my car regularly, I hardly see boost at all unless I'm trying to get on it, so I don't really need to let itidle,but I also have a larger turbo so it takes a little more to get it going.

Anyways, you need to check your TIMING BELT! If you don't know when it's been replaced last, or youdon't feel you have the experties to deduce that from looking at it, you should replace it.
