Default my project gst

i bought my 96 gst about eleven months ago.. and project is an understatement. i only thought it had a blown engine and no tranny. little did i know, it had NOTHING else either.
i bought it for 400 dollars, because i love eclipses and i wanted to learn about them, their engines, and everything else. i thought i'd put maybe 2000 at most into it and everything would be good, paint job included. aaaand here i am 8k later.
my gst JUST got finished with paint today, and needs a few more things before she runs. but, here are some before and after pictures of the paint job/engine, and ill post more when shes totally done.

(original bumper to the car, when i bought it there wasnt even a bumper)

right after the rebuilt got put in

after she got painted today ! 'dark grey pearl', seen on 3rd gens

hahah as a reminder, they left this yellow

and meeee in love with my car

What you can do, is mask off the exterior, and simply get a rattle can and spray it black or something. Just to prevent the yellow from shining through.

Actually there are engine mods, the parts I tracked down werent alll stock lol. There is a HKS BIG T28 that banks for about 1200 new (got for 150 with a chipped exhaust wheel). There is a dejontool hard upper intercooler pipe too.
