sorry 96 gsx , if i put my foot on the clutch to stop, it just dies on me, no sputtering or anything just stops. My check engine light is usually on for my air/flow and emissions, and i'm trying to find why it's doing that, but it's ran fine so far, and my abs light is always on. well while it's doing this, my abs light has went off. any ideas?

this happened to me a while back, every time i would come to a stop and push the clutch in, the car would bog down then stall. it ended up being that i needed to swap out the slave cylinder on the clutch release line, this should happen if it stalls only when you're stopped tho. but still something i would check out. also, im not sure how it would be affecting your abs light

If that's the case it might be a vac leak... Vac would affect the brakes as well as the clutch if I'm not mistaken...

Sounds like an Oxygen problem, when's the last time you changed your oxygen sensors? I had to replace mine a while back, my car was doing the same thing. Make sure your filter is good and clean, no holes in lines, sensors are good, and all that.

if your abs light is always on then its probably just a bad abs sensor because i had that on my problem. For the stalling problem, it could be a bunch of stuff. My first guess would be a vaccuum leak. Then maybe a bad sensor. Does the CEL stay on when you turn the car back on?
