your car will drive/sound like ass. you should never drive around like that when you start it up you will know something is wrong, it may not do much damage but you are close to it/

I agree it'll sound like @$$ depending which way it's off. You'll also feel a definate difference in the power output and yu'll be getting crappy gas mileage. And you'll definately be close to damaging things in the engine.
