Need a Solution

So I have a second gen 1995 eclipse and in the engine compartment, centered and in the far back towards the rear end, there was a rail type thing mounted basically on the firewall with various hoses, but it looks like some are missing and I would like to replace them if anyone could maybe post pictures of theirs that is hooked up right or even just let me know what exactly it is would be great. I can post a picture of mine aswell tomorrow. Any advice would be great thanks.

sorry cant help much.
They look like vacuum hoses/ switches.
Check around intake manifold for other hoseless connectors.

Is there a problem with running?

Looks similar to the set up in my evo. Is this car a turbo?

cbarn96 06-12-2013 07:38 PM

The car is a turbo and yes the car has kind of mild to severe idle surge issues and the idle likes to dip down sometimes and kill the car, and I believe this part may be part of the issue

Post a picture of your entire engine bay.

One of them is a most likely a fuel cut off solenoid. It goes in the vaccum line from the manifold to the fuel pressure regulator. Removing it will only disable the ecu fuel cut off and wont affct the running of the car. I will check the othe one when i get a chance and reply again

Also in the lower left I have not yet replaced the hose that goes there but I was told it should not affect the car too much

Sebba 06-13-2013 12:45 PM

Well, the reason why your car is stalling is because your blow off valve isn't recirculated. Do that. Who ever told you it doesn't effect much is a moron, it effects EVERYTHING with respect to how the car runs.

What kind of hose would you recomend to place there?
