Default New Front Bumper

Last week I was backing my eclipse out of my drive way and my bumper got stuck on my curb....needless to say, the bumper was torn off my car like a can of sardines.....should I go stock bumper or body kit bumper? What are the advantages of one or the other? Is it really worth the extra bucks for that "special" bumper?

well...for me body kit is a part of weight reduction and aerodynamics, usually i, will install the kit for my project car. for a daily driven car, i,ll stay w/ stock form. but again sometimes those stock bumper cost higher compare to fiber glass front kit. well...your choice bro.

the only problem i have is body kits weight is more than stock more material is used to make it. second the stock bumber out of the autoboy catolog are like $500 new. a body kit is $150 for bumber i have found a lot of them at that price so depending on if u like the style of a kit bumper. if so get it. the other question is if u buy a new bumper from mitsu or you could go interstate"about $100 less" but do u want to pay that price tag?

I can't stand aftermarket bumper kits because I had so many problems with it. Whether it's from bottoming out in the ****ty montreal road or crack on the fiber glass when it's cold. My bumper was completely f*cked i shoudl have taken a picture of it so you know how bad it was. Depending on where you live you might not have the same problem as me. I just switched to stock bumper for my 98 eclispe yesterday and I so far liked it a lot better. STICK IT TO STOCK

ON THAT NOTE, I WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME THE MATERIAL THAT IS MADE OUT OF THE STOCK BUMPER. IS IT COMPLETLEY URETHANE OR IS THERE A PLASTIC COVER OVER IT.

THANX
